Consent banner

EP Diagnostics displays a consent banner so visitors can choose between essential cookies only and optional analytics.

Necessary consent cookie

ep_cookie_consent_v1 is used to remember the visitor's cookie choice. It does not select advertisements, profile the visitor or change diagnostic results.

Necessary diagnostic usage cookie

ep_diag_client_v1 is an essential, opaque first-party identifier used only to apply the diagnostic usage rule: up to 12 diagnostic starts for the same website within a rolling 24-hour window for the same browser/client. It is not used for advertising, profiling or diagnostic conclusions.

The server-side usage-control record stores only timestamps under a one-way client/site key. It does not store the visitor's raw IP address, user-agent string, page content or diagnostic evidence for this purpose.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is loaded only after the visitor chooses Accept analytics. It is used to measure website traffic and, where controlled advertisements are displayed, clicks on those advertisements.

If the visitor chooses Essential only, Google Analytics is not loaded by EP Diagnostics.

Controlled advertising

Controlled advertisements remain static and the same approved advertisement is shown to every visitor during the active campaign period. Advertising does not depend on analytics consent.

The advertiser creative itself does not use advertiser-supplied tracking pixels, third-party ad scripts, user-specific targeting or behavioral ad selection in the initial model.

Website functionality

Rejecting analytics does not disable the EP Diagnostics website, diagnostic functions or controlled advertisement links. Analytics is measurement infrastructure only.

Changing your choice

Visitors can reopen Cookie settings from the footer. Changing from analytics to essential-only causes the next page state to load without Google Analytics.
